One of its most captivating features, particularly in the white limestone is the presence of visible fossils, —ancient imprints of marine life—that add a distinctive and fascinating touch to each piece. With a varied colour palette from classic creams and whites to elegant greys and blacks. Letter Colours
The wording is sandblasted into the limestone and painted with our tough two pack paints. Black, White, Dark Green RAL6005 and Stiffkey Blue, F&B Lichen (light green) and F&B Purbeck (light grey) are the standard colours. Lots of other paint colours are also available @ £5
Prices for Limestone Signs and Memorials
The limetone can be cut to any size. The above prices include 6 letters - extra letters - £1.10 for next 19 and then 55p per letter thereafter.

Images
We can sandblast simple images into the stone. We have a selection CLICK HERE (£14 per image under 100mm) or you can send in your own artwork (£36 per image under 100mm)- It should be a simple image without any very fine lines. Another option is to ask our designer to find you something appropriate or look on Shutterstock and we will buy the download for you @ a cost of £26 which includes the engraving.
Holes
We can drill the holes for you @ £1.10 per standard hole. £1.95 per countersunk hole. Hidden Fixings - £8.30 per 2, £16.60 per 4.
If you do decide to use one of the many adhesives now available we would suggest additional support is used, particularly for the larger signs.
Black Limestone Memorial
Each piece of limestone is custom-cut to size upon order. The face is lightly polished for a refined finish, the edges are honed smooth, and the reverse is left unfinished to enhance adhesion when using glue or mortar.

A Rich Palette of Natural Hues
The subtle and varied colour palette of limestone is one of its most captivating features.
